Beet Oats Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Beet Oats Smoothie Bowl is a super-healthy and delicious breakfast, which you can preferrably make during weekdays or on lazy weekends. Making a smoothie bowl is a good way to incorporate beetroot in your diet, especially if you have kids or adults which dislike it in any other form. Smoothie bowls are so much in trend and it made me try few combinations.


Making these smoothie bowls are so satisfying. As you can see, it requires

  • Almost no cooking
  • Super healthy
  • Less time spend in the kitchen
  • and family also healthy and happy.

It is a good idea to serve as breakfast on Valentine’s day too, as it is made from heart and good for heart too!

How to make Beet Oats Smoothie Bowl:

1. Soak oats in hot water and keep aside.
2. Peel a medium sized beetroot and chop it roughly(if boiling) or you can grate it (if adding directly to blender).
3. Add all the ingredients; soaked oats, curd, jaggery, beetroot to the blender and blend it till smooth paste..
4. Transfer it to a serving bowl and top it with your favourite fruits and nuts.

Notes:
You can cook or roast the beetroot before grinding. However, roasting will make it sweeter.

 

Beet Oats Smoothie Bowl

Servings: 3 bowls

Measurements used:- 1 cup = 250 ml; 1 tbsp = 15 ml; 1 tsp = 5 ml

Ingredients:- 

1/2 cup Instant Oats

1 medium beetroot

1/3 cup Jaggery

1 pinch Salt

1/2 cup Curd / Yogurt

Toppings:-

  • Mango chunks
  • Banana
  • Nuts of your choice
  • Pomegranate

Instructions:-

1. Soak oats in hot water and keep aside.

2. Peel a medium sized beetroot and chop it roughly.(if boiling) or you can grate it (if adding directly to blender).

3. Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend it till smooth paste..

4. Transfer it to a serving bowl and top it with your favourite fruits and nuts.
