Healthy and delicious Banana Bread recipe with step by step photos.

After a lot of trials, I'm so excited to share our family favourite Banana Bread. This banana bread is different from the classic banana bread. It's totally healthy and delicious prepared with ripe bananas.
As it has no sugar, no butter, no refined flour making it totally healthy to consume it very often without any guilt. Recently, I started preparing this cake so often as my little boy is so fond of cake. And being a health conscious mom never let me buy those shop baked cakes loaded with lots of sugar and butter.

So, here goes the recipe with step by step photos. I hope you will try and let me know how it turned out for you.

How to bake a banana bread with step by step photos :

  1. Separate all the ingredients under dry and mix it well. Keep it aside.
  2. Peel all the bananas and put it in a seperate bowl. Add the required amount of grated jaggery. Microwave it for about 1.5 minutes, till the bananas are mushy. 


  3. With the help of a fork, mash it properly. It will turn into a semi- liquid mixture.
  4. Add all the remaining wet ingredients to the banana mixture and mix it well. NO HANDMIXER IS REQUIRED.  

  5. Now start adding the dry mixture little at a time to the wet mixture and keep on whisking till no lumps are present.
  6. Preheat the oven at 140 degree C.
  7. Grease a tray with oil or butter and dust it with some some flour. Pour the cake mix into the tray.  Tap   the tray once to release all the air bubbles. 

  8. Put it in the oven and bake it @ 140 for 24 minutes.
  9. Completely cool it down and enjoy it with a hot cup of tea.

RECIPE NOTES
Instead of using the full 2 cups of wheat flour, you can replace it with 1/4 cup of ground oats and the remaining part with wheat flour.
